WA DAY FESTIVAL IS BACK FOR 2022!

JUNE 6th 2022

WA Day is the perfect time to celebrate this magnificent state, acknowledging our resilience as a community, and unite for unique events, either within the metropolitan area, at Burswood Park or regionally in Port Hedland.  Celebrate WA will also support WA Museum to host smaller events around the state

The Western Australian of the Year Awards program will be postponed this year, with the hosting of the Gala event not feasible, in accordance with health advice from the WA Government.

In its 50th year, the awards will share the stories and contributions of past winners of the West Australian of the Year.

This year’s program has been made possible by our partners, the State Government of WA, Lotterywest and BHP.

We are looking forward to involving WA businesses and community members in the celebrations, and share their stories of what make Western Australia such a special place.
